Moberly man charged with multiple crimes after domestic disturbance Thursday
MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Randolph County prosecutor has charged a Moberly man after he allegedly stabbed a woman, kept her against her will and threatened her life.
Ryan Webb is charged with first-degree domestic assault, kidnapping, armed criminal action, first-degree stalking, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child.
At 1:01 a.m. Thursday, Moberly police responded to a residence on the 600 block of Patton St. for reports of a domestic disturbance.
When police arrived, police heard yelling inside the residence and were met by the victim at the front door when Webb told police he "he intended to kill the female and the officers," according to a release.
Webb was then taken into custody.
Investigators report Webb had been holding the victim against her will for several hours in a room within the residence and stabbed her with a large kitchen knife according to the release.
Police say Webb also threatened to kill the victim and a 3-month-old child.
Officers recovered evidence at the scene consistent with the victim’s statement of having been stabbed.
Webb is being held without bond at the Randolph County Jail.
