9-year-old killed after tractor overturns in Miller County

A 9-year-old boy is dead after a tractor crash in Miller County Tuesday.

It happened on Buster Road around 4:15 Tuesday evening.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 9-year-old Chesney Rush was on the tractor with 40-year-old Roy Rush when the crash happened.

Troopers say the Roy Rush was driving the tractor and crossing a pond dam when it went off the road, rolled and came to a rest on its top.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear if Roy Rush was hurt in the wreck.

This is Troop F’s 7th fatality crash so far in 2017.
