Tracking more mild weather this afternoon

GET OUTSIDE
KMIZ

WEDNESDAY

It’ll be another enjoyable afternoon! Temperatures will top out in the middle 50’s with a few clouds passing by. The breeze we were tracking yesterday will back off some, as well.

TONIGHT

The partly cloudy skies will stick around. We’re tracking a front moving through overnight that could bring a passing shower by daybreak for some of our far eastern counties. Lows will bottom out around freezing once again.

EXTENDED

Thursday is looking alright on the other side of that front. Winds will become gusty once again but highs will still make it to near 50 by the afternoon. We’re in the low 40’s on Friday with clouds increasing ahead of our next weather-maker. Rain quickly transitioning over to snow is looking more and more likely Friday night into Saturday. Accumulating snowfall will be possible as early as Friday night, but most of the impacts would likely be felt throughout the day Saturday. There is still quite a bit of uncertainty with this system but we should start to get some answers over the next 24 hours. We’ll only manage the freezing mark for highs Saturday, warming into the upper 30’s by Sunday. That looks to be about where we start out the week before jumping back into the 40’s by Tuesday.
