Kobe Brown named SEC Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou guard Kobe Brown is the SEC Player of the Week.

The junior standout had a career-high 30 points in the Tigers win over No. 15 Alabama on Saturday. He also brought down 13 rebounds. It was his fifth double-double of the season.

Brown is averaging 15.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season.

Mizzou is 7-7 overall and 1-1 in SEC play. Up next - the Tigers will play at Arkansas on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
