Moberly teen seriously injured in rollover crash

An 18-year-old driver was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after crashing his car on a snow-covered road in Monroe County.

The crash happened on County Road 1009, just 3 miles outside of Middle Grove.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver, Christopher Duvall, lost control of his car and hit an embankment, which caused his car to overturn.

Duvall was first taken to Moberly Regional Hospital and then flown to University Hospital in serious condition.

According to the crash report, he wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Monroe County Ambulance and Madison Fire Department assisted troopers at the scene.
