Saturday Evening, January 7

TONIGHT: Areas north and along I-70 may see a few developing clouds by this evening. Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the single digits in places. Overnight low is 9 degrees with a wind chill of 1 degree.

SUNDAY: Morning conditions will start with the low near 10 degrees, but a south breeze will warm temperatures into the low to mid 30s. We will finally see our temperatures go above freezing mainly for areas south and along I-70. Areas with that received an inch or more of snow may see temperatures persisting on the cooler side. Clouds will move into Mid-Missouri throughout the course of the day, leading to a partly sunny day with light, warm S winds around 5-9 mph.

EXTENDED: The warming continues for the start of the work week as high temperatures reach the lower 40s on Monday and mid-upper 50s on Tuesday as a SW breeze picks up. There is a chance of rain on Tuesday. Temperatures will continue to be unseasonably warm for the rest of the week with another chance for precipitation by Thursday night into Friday.
