Stolen vehicle nets four arrests

The Fulton Police Department arrested four people connected to a stolen utility vehicle Wednesday.

Police said they tried pulling over the vehicle with no registration around 12:45 p.m. when it pulled into a private driveway on South Business 54.

After investigating and making contact with the vehicle’s occupants: Matthew G. Aldrich, James D. Bennett, Robert E. Gibson and Andrea L. Martin, officers were able to determine the vehicle had been reported stolen in Columbia.

Aldrich and Martin were arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and trespassing.

Martin was also arrested on a Callaway County warrant for failure to appear for no seatbelt and a Boone County warrant for stealing.

Bennett was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and trespassing. He was released on summons to appear.

Gibson was also arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and released on summons to appear.
