What’s Going Around: 12/28/2016

The holidays are a time for getting together with loved ones, but also a time it seems like many of us get sick.

The doctors from Broadway Urgent Care say the flu is picking up. They do remind everyone to get your flu shot if you haven’t already.

Doctor Flynn from Mizzou Quick Cares and Urgent Care also says she has seen a patient with both flu A and B, which she says is rare.

All of the doctors say upper respiratory infections and bronchitis continue to make people ill this season.

The Broadway doctors say sinus infections and the mumps are going around.

Doctor Flynn says strep is hitting younger kinds. There have also been a number of injuries from people getting out in nice weather.
