One injured in Osage County rollover crash

A Freeburg man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Highway 63 Saturday afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. near Route T.

Troopers said the driver, Michael Bexten, 55, drove off the right side of the highway, hit several trees and flipped his truck.

He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. Troopers said Bexten wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

According to the Highway Patrol crash reports, this is the first crash troopers have responded to in mid-Missouri since the holiday counting period started on Friday at 6 p.m.
