1 dead, 5 others injured in New Year’s Eve crash in Branson

BRANSON, Mo. (AP) — Police say a woman has died and five other people were injured in a crash on New Year’s Eve in Branson. Two vehicles collided head on about 6 p.m. Friday on Highway 76 in Branson. Police said a woman was dead at the scene and five people were treated for injuries at Springfield hospitals. Their conditions were not available. The cause of the crash has not been determined.
