Home damaged after early morning house fire in Audrain County, no one hurt

UPDATE 7:22am: Firefighters on scene tell us they’re investigating the cause of an early morning house fire in Audrain County. It happened just after 5:30 Friday morning. Our ABC 17 News say the fire is out, but the home is still smoking. Fire officials say no one was hurt, but the side of the home was left with minor damage. It’s unclear right now what started the fire. ORIGINAL: Boone County fire crews are responding to a fire in Audrain County. Dispatch shows crews were first called to Audrain County Road 165 around 5:40 Friday morning. At least seven Boone County units are responding. ABC 17 News is also hearing reports that flames are showing from a structure. Our ABC 17 News crews are on the scene right now working to find out if anyone was hurt in the fire and what caused it. We’ll have a live report from the scene on ABC 17 News at 9:00am.
