Snow Chance Saturday

A strong cold front will move through on Saturday morning with another arctic blast with temperatures falling quickly during the day. The high temperature of 45 will occur before 7AM. With the colder air, will bring a chance for snow showers, mainly in the afternoon. Areas west of US 63 could see up to 1″ of snow, while those east look to get a trace to a dusting. Areas south of I-44 do not look to get any accumulation. Timing up snow looks to start up in northwest Mid-Missouri from 10AM-12PM near Chariton, Macon, and Howard, tracking towards US 63 in Columbia by 12PM-2PM in the early afternoon, ending through 5PM-7PM near HWY 54 and I-44. Timing and accumulation will likely change as this event draws nearer. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
