Boone County man arrested for child pornography

A Columbia man was arrested Tuesday for possession of child pornography.

According to the Boone County Cyber Crimes Task Force, 25 year-old Cody Allen Woll was arrested following a proactive investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography on the internet.

Investigators served a search warrant at 2012 West Ash Street and seized several computers. Officers found multiple videos and still images of children involved in sex acts.

At last report, Woll was being held in the Boone County Jail on a $20,000 dollar bond, with the conditions that he have no internet access, he is not to have any contact with anyone under the age of 17, and he cannot possess or use any device capable of accessing the internet.

Woll is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon at 1:30.
