Jefferson City man arrested for fifth DWI, resisting arrest

Authorities were called to Kwik Kar Wash & Detail on 2711 West Edgewood Drive on Sunday for an intoxicated driver. When authorities were talking to the driver, Michael C. Stone, he smelled strongly of alcohol and his eyes were bloodshot and watery.

Authorities asked Stone to stand, and he had to be helped by authorities. Stone became angry during his sobriety test, threw his hat on the ground and resisted arrest.

This is Stone’s fifth DWI charge and first resisting arrest charge. Stone also has a warrant out for failing to appear in court for a previous DWI.
