Car hit by bullets in south Columbia early Sunday morning

ABC 17 News has confirmed gunshots were fired in south Columbia early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the scene in the 3900 block of Buttonwood Drive around 2:30 a.m.

A sergeant with the Columbia Police Department tells ABC 17 News officers found one vehicle with damage from bullets.

There are no reports of any person or persons injured.

There is no suspect information at this time, and no arrests have been made.
