CHRISTMAS EVE: We’re getting started with a warm start and we’re only going up from here. A few peeks of sunshine will help temperatures top out near 70 this afternoon. Another breezy afternoon will help move the mercury a little more too.

TONIGHT: A system will start to take shape moving through tonight. A few showers will be possible with it, especially along and north of I-70. Those showers will hold off until after 9 PM and should be out of here by daybreak. Overnight lows will only be in the mid to upper 50’s.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will drop into the low 50’s tomorrow morning, where they’ll hold throughout the day on Christmas with sunshine making a return. Clouds will start to increase on Sunday, with highs pushing back into the upper 50’s. A few showers will be possible later in the day Sunday, so keep that in mind if you’re making travel arrangements then. That chance of rain will push out of the area by Monday morning, leaving us dry and warm during the day. The rain chances return overnight into Tuesday with highs staying in the 50’s. They’re out of here by Wednesday, but the cooler weather will take its place. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will be back in the 40’s.
