Mizzou tops Utah; bounces back from rivalry loss
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou men's basketball team hung on for a 83-75 win over the Utes of Utah at Mizzou Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Junior forward Kobe Brown led the team with 27 points and six rebounds. Guard Amari Davis was right behind him with 17 points, which was a big improvement after not scoring in the team's last outing against Kansas.
Freshmen Anton Brookshire and Trevon Brazile both got their first-career starts in the black and gold. Brookshire finished the game with no points and one rebound, while Brazile finished with two big blocks.
The Tiger defense held Utah to a near three minute field goal drought to end the game.
