Tracking off and on rain today

showers return
KMIZ

FRIDAY: Showers look to make a push back into the area this morning. These will move in from the southwest and be off and on throughout the day. Plenty of clouds and winds out of the northwest will keep highs in the upper 30’s and low 40’s this afternoon.

TONIGHT: The rain will stay with us into the evening before heading east after midnight. Overnight lows will be buoyed by cloud cover, in the middle 30’s.

EXTENDED: Some cooler air will start to filter into the area on Saturday. Highs will be stuck in the 30’s with a steady northwest wind and stubborn cloud cover. We’ll bottom out in the teens Saturday night as the clouds leave us, with wind chills close to 10 by Sunday morning. We’ll warm to near 40 on Sunday with the added sunshine. Temperatures jump back into the upper 40’s and low 50’s on Monday. That’s where we’ll see highs get for much of next week.
