Mizzou men’s basketball gets set to renew rivalry with No. 8 Kansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou basketball coach Cuonzo Martin and the Tigers are ready to renew the Border War rivalry with Kansas. We spoke with the team this afternoon.

MU will play at Kansas on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. We'll have full highlights and reaction from the game on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Mizzou has not played Kansas in a regular season game since Feb. 25, 2012. It will be the their 268th meeting on the hardwood all-time.

Kansas head coach Bill Self is 9-0 against the Tigers when playing in Lawrence. On Thursday, Self said he is excited to bring this rivalry back for fans. He added that he's been educating his players on why it matters so much
