One detained after driver allegedly refuses to stop following traffic violation
Authorities were on the scene on Clearview Driver after they say a driver refused to stop in Boone County.
Deputies say it all started when an officer tried to stop someone for a traffic violation.
The incident reportedly started near Brown Station Road and 763 and ended just minutes later.
They say the driver didn’t stop, but say they don’t consider it a chase because it never reached high speeds.
Deputies say they have detained one person right now, but say they believe the incident was a miscommunication.
No word yet on if deputies will arrest that person.
