Tracking a slim chance at some snowflakes

a few flakes possible
KMIZ

TUESDAY: A weak system moving through the Midwest has brought back the cloud cover this morning. A few raindrops or snowflakes will be possible throughout the day, but won’t have much of an impact on your Tuesday. Temperatures will top out in the upper 30’s this afternoon.

TONIGHT: That system will depart shortly after sunset, leaving us dry overnight. Lows will make a return into the mid to upper 20’s.

EXTENDED: We start to warm back up for the rest of the week as high pressure slides off to our east. Highs will reach the upper 40’s Wednesday, lower 60’s by Thursday, and into the low 70’s by Friday. Our next storm system will be moving through Friday night. This will bring some windy conditions to the end of the week and much cooler air for the weekend itself. Rain chances appear slim, with our best shot east of HWY 63 Friday night. Highs on Saturday will be knocked back into the upper 40’s, but we’ll start to recover on Sunday, making it into the low 50’s.
