Former House Speaker’s son found dead

ABC 17 News has learned that the son of former House Speaker John Diehl Jr. was found dead in his home in Alabama. 23-year-old Samuel Diehl, of St. Louis, graduated from West Point last year, and was currently in flight school at Fort Rucker.

Diehl’s death is being investigated by the Fort Rucker Military Police and Criminal Investigation Division.
