Courage make Nahas head coach, removing interim tag

CARY, N.C. (AP) — Interim coach Sean Nahas has been named permanent head coach of the North Carolina Courage. Nahas replaced Paul Riley, who was fired in September after two former players accused him of sexual harassment and coercion. Riley denied the allegations. Nahas has been with the Courage organization since 2004, serving as director of the girls’ development academy, and with the first team staff since 2017.
