Ballot scanners now working for Camden County

Camden County officials are working to get back to normal operation after a possible security breach shut down part of their office last week.

The Kansas City office of the FBI confirmed to ABC 17 News agents raided the county courthouse September 19. The phone lines and website were affected too.

Wednesday, ABC 17 News confirmed ballot scanners and payroll are now working, but employees still can’t access email or the county’s website.

Four IT workers were suspended, but it remains unclear what caused the possible security breach.
