TONIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the mid 60s with light southeasterly winds. Areas of fog are possible late tonight in valleys.

FRIDAY: The dry, warm weather continues with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s. Winds will come out of the south at 3-6 mph. Evening high school football games will start off with warm temperatures in the low 80s, falling to the mid 70s by 10 PM.

EXTENDED: There is an isolated storm chance west of HWY 63 Saturday in the afternoon and evening, but most areas will stay dry and warm. Storms will increase from the west Saturday night into Sunday morning as a cold front approaches. Showers and t-storms are likely Sunday, slowly moving east and out of the area Monday morning. There will be a slight rain chance next Tuesday if this system slows down. Temperatures will reach near 80 Sunday. Next week looks cooler with more typical late September temperatures with highs returning to the mid to upper 70s, with nights falling to the low to mid 50s.
