Child hurt in Howard County ATV crash
A 6 year old Fayette boy is recovering Tuesday night after an ATV Crash northwest of Columbia.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the wreck happened around 5:40 p.m. on Monday.
The boy was a passenger on the all-terrain vehicle when it hit a tree on Highway 240.
Emergency crews flew the child to a Columbia hospital in serious condition.
He was later transferred to a facility in St. Louis.
The driver, 61 year old Mark Mullanix, of Fayette, refused medical attention at the crash scene.
