UPDATE: Second inmate arrested after Pulaski County jail-break

UPDATE: The second inmate who escaped from the Pulaski County Jail early Sunday morning was arrested in Oklahoma.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Tuesday to ABC 17 News Dustin Richardson and his accomplice, Marlee Davy, were taken into custody.

The couple was arrested at a McDonald’s in Atoka, OK by officers with the Oklahoma State Highway Patrol and Atoka, Oklahoma Police Department.

Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol tied Richardson to Oklahoma after they learned he was driving a stolen vehicle from Dallas County.

Davy was an accomplice to Richardson after the jail-break.

UPDATE: More charges have been issued for the escaped inmates and their accomplice, according to Pulaski County police.

Davy has been charged with assault/attempted assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, resisting arrest by fleeing and creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to a person, two counts of aiding escape of a prisoner confined for a felony and two counts of hindering prosecution of a Felony.

Her bond has been set at $750,000, and she has still not been taken into custody.

Richardson and Sherrell have been charged with assault/attempted assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, resisting arrest by fleeing and creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to a person, escape from confinement and aiding the escape of a prisoner confined for a felony.

Both men are/will be held without bond. Sherrell has been arrested and Richardson is still at-large.

A fourth individual was arrested with Sherrell yesterday. ABC 17 News will update you when we find out more.

UPDATE: One of two inmates that escaped from the Pulaski County Jail is now in custody. James R. Sherrell was arrested in a home about five miles west of Crocker on Highway U.

UPDATE: In addition to the suspects and their accomplice being sought, 22-year-old Angelica Black was accused of having a sexual relationship with Richardson while he was in custody.

At the time of the incident, Black was a member of the correction staff at the jail. That incident occurred earlier in September.

UPDATE: Pulaski County authorities are looking for 21-year-old Marlee Davy of Lebanon, after she was seen driving a car with both suspects on Sunday and leading authorities on a high-speed chase.

The suspects were last seen north of Richmond, driving a red Chevrolet Suburban.

ORIGINAL STORY: According to Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long, two inmates escaped the county jail early Sunday morning.

Sheriff Long says the jailbreak happened around 1:15 a.m. when James Randall Sherrell and Dustin Richardson asked for a medical check. During that time, Long says they stole the jailer’s keys and ran from the jail. The jailer was not hurt during the incident.

All Pulaski County law enforcement agencies, in addition to Missouri State Highway Patrol and other area sheriff’s departments are helping to look for the two men.

Sherrell, also known as J.R., is a 32-year-old white male, about 5 feet 6 inches and 120 pounds. Long says Sherrell has short brown hair and green eyes, with multiple tattoos on his body. He was in custody for possession of a controlled substance. Long says he is a career offender and should be considered dangerous.

Richardson is a 27-year-old white male, about 5 feet 11 inches and 180 pounds. Long says he has short brown hair and brown eyes, also with multiple tattoos on his body.

Richardson was in custody for child molestation and has an outstanding warrant from Camden County on charges of molesting a minor. Long says Richardson is also a career offender and should be considered dangerous.
