ORIGINAL STORY: The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a motorcyclist’s past after a high-speed chase Monday morning.

It happened around 4:00 Monday morning when deputies say they tried to pull over a motorcyclist for speeding on Route B.

The motorcyclist took off, reaching speeds of up to 100 miles per hours.

After a few minutes, the chase ended when the motorcyclist tried changing directions at the intersection of Route B and McGee road. The motorcycle apparently spun out from under the driver and crashed.
