Man taken to the hospital after getting hit by a car in Jefferson City
The Jefferson City Police Department is investigating a vehicle that hit a pedestrian on Ventura Avenue.
Around 6:45 p.m. Jefferson City Police Department responded to the 200 block of Ventura Avenue for a crash.
Upon arriving, JCPD found that the driver, Andrew Stiles, 22 was going westbound on Ventura in his 2006 Toyota Rav4 when he hit Alain Lehmuth, 22, who was walking westbound on the north side of the road.
Lehmuth was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
JCPD says the crash is still under investigation.
