Job Description:

The successful candidate’s duties will include gathering information, writing, shooting, cultivating sources and editing stories from around Mid-Missouri for nightly newscasts, station’s website and other digital platforms.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have the ability to effectively communicate with the public and internally. They must have strong writing and organizational skills, videography and video editing skills and a professional on-camera presence. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or related field is preferred. Previous newsroom experience is a plus. Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver’s license and pass a drug test and background check.
