Traffic Alert: Semi crash blocking traffic on I-70 westbound in Callaway County

UPDATE 9/8: Traffic has been cleared.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a jack-knifed semi is blocking traffic on I-70 westbound right now.

The crash happened just after 8:00am near the 137 mile marker. The patrol says traffic is backed up to the 140 mile marker, but says traffic is moving around the wreck.

Troopers tell ABC 17 News they have crews moving the tractor trailer from the road now and says the crash should be cleared soon.

They say it’s unclear what caused the crash and if anyone was hurt in the wreck.
