I-70 westbound lanes reopen after several crashes

UPDATE 8:24am: All lanes are now reopened on I-70 westbound after a wreck.

Our ABC 17 News crew sent a picture of a MoDOT sign that was damaged in the crash.

Our crews are working to find out how many people were involved in the crash and if anyone was hurt.

ORIGINAL: Reports indicate there are at least two crashes on I-70 westbound, one of which has traffic at the connector down to one lane.

MoDOT traffic map cameras indicate traffic is delayed in the area and show at least one lane is closed to traffic. They show the back up starts near the 136 mile marker on I-70 westbound. It’s unclear how far the back-up stretches.

ABC 17 has sent a crew to the scene to gather information.
