Suspect still on the loose after robbing a man at gunpoint in central Columbia
Columbia Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened near the Business Loop early Friday morning.
Police were called to the intersection of Austin Avenue and Grand Avenue around 4 a.m.
The victim told officers the suspect threatened him with a gun and demanded money. The suspect then took off on foot.
The victim described the suspect as Hispanic or light-skinned black male wearing a red St. Louis Cardinals shirt with a skinny build.
The victim was unharmed in the incident, but was shaken up.
