Man charged in incident involving shotgun
A man was charged in Boone County Tuesday for a July incident involving a shotgun.
Osama Yanis is accused of taking a shotgun out of his car and pointing it at two people.
Court documents claim it happened in a parking lot on East Broadway on July 17. He reportedly confronted the victim about an ex-girlfriend. Yanis became upset and allegedly went to the trunk of his vehicle and pulled out the gun.
Documents claim another person who tried to separate Yanis and the man was also threatened with the weapon.
A criminal setting is scheduled for Wednesday.
