Fulton man arrested on suspicion of statutory sodomy

A Fulton man has been charged with statutory sodomy following his arrest late last month.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrested George Martin following a reported child sex crime at a home near Fulton. The victim in the case was 16 years old. Deputies later searched Martin’s home and arrested Martin. Authorities haven’t said what evidence they found at the home.

Officials do say the investigation is ongoing, and more charges may be filed.
