Blackout confirmed in parts of Fulton early Friday morning

UPDATE:As of 6:30 a.m., an official at the Fulton Power Plant says they believe to have the entire city back to full power.

They told ABC 17 the power went out city-wide around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Our crews saw streetlights and traffic signals out around town.

They are still investigating what caused the power outage.

ORIGINAL STORY:City officials in Fulton have confirmed the lights are out for many residents.

Several viewers called the ABC 17 Newsroom starting around 3 a.m. saying their power was out.

Right now it’s unclear how much of the city is without power, but several people in several different areas are reporting no power.

Authorities confirmed the city of Fulton was on scene working to resolve the issue.
