The search for a man and his dog over in Boone County
Southern Boone County authorities have confirmed the search for a man and his dog is now over at the Devils Backbone.
The search started around 2 a.m. on Monday morning.
Captain Timothy Bullard confirms crews never found the man, but he started texting his parents around 7 Monday morning.
Around the same time search and rescue crews were postponing the search due to weather.
