Rollover crash causes traffic on I-70 in Callaway County

One lane of I-70 westbound was shut down Saturday afternoon after a car crash near mile marker 159.

Traffic was moving slowly on the interstate while the Missouri State Highway Patrol worked to clear the scene.

Troopers said the crash happened when a car quickly slowed down and another car rear ended it.

The first car then drove off the right side of the road, hit a retaining wall and flipped. The 51-year-old driver wasn’t hurt.

The driver of the second car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
