Two injured in plane crash in Phelps County

Two people are injured after a plane crashes in Phelps County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I responded to a call around 7:30p.m. of a plane crash near County Road 3450 in St. James.

At this time Missouri State Highway Patrol says, the pilot and a passenger were injured and sent to a local hospital.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified and will be taking over the investigation.
