Tracking a wave that looks to bring an end to our warmer than average trend

TONIGHT: Temperatures are still warming as we approach the peak of this trend. Highs will top out in the low 70’s with more sunshine and a slight breeze into the afternoon. Tonight, we see increasing clouds allowing for a warm start early tomorrow.

TUESDAY: Clouds will bring chances for light showers tomorrow. Chances for showers are slim, with most staying dry. The biggest consequence of tomorrow's wave will be a slightly cooler afternoon with temperatures climbing only into the upper 60's.

EXTENDED: That’s about where we get on Wednesday before our next storm system shakes up the second half of the week. Widespread rain looks like a safe bet Wednesday night into Thursday morning before pushing east. Temperatures will cool down into the middle 50’s on Thursday, falling back into the 30’s Thursday night. We’ll be stuck in the upper 40’s and low 50’s heading into the weekend.
