Two people sustained serious injuries during a crash in Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man and a woman from Jefferson City are hospitalized with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash in Callaway County just after 1 p.m. Sunday.

The incident happened on Route Y east of County Rd. 363 when a vehicle driven by Brad Hulsey, 47 of Eldon, slowed to make a left turn when he struck another vehicle.

Both Nathan Terry, 36 of Jefferson City, and Hana Siegel, 38 of Jefferson City, were ejected from their vehicle at the time of the crash.

Both Terry and Siegel experienced serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to University Hospital. Hulsey did not receive any injuries in the crash.

According to the crash report, Hulsey was wearing a seatbelt.

As of 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Siegel had been treated and released at University Hospital.
