Camden County Sheriff’s Dept. confirm human remains found

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Camden County Sheriff’s Department reports human remains were found in the Linn Creek area.

According to an initial social media post by the sheriff’s dept., two men were in the area looking for arrowheads when they found the possible human remains.

Officials report the remains were found near Route Y and Highway 54.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the Camden County Prosecuting Attorneys Investigators and the Camden County Medical Examiners Office are currently investigating the remains.

Efforts are underway by investigators to identify the remains before the decedent’s family is notified.
