Suspect captured after leading Columbia Police on chase

Columbia Police and Boone County Sheriff were lead on a chase Tuesday evening. The chase ended at the corner of Lyman Drive and Halsted Court, in a residential neighborhood in West Columbia.

Approximately 7 units were on scene when our ABC 17 crews arrived. A gentlemen was taken in handcuffs into a Boone County Sheriff’s car.

Boone County Sheriff, Columbia Police, and MU Ambulances were on scene assisting.
