Crews respond to two Columbia motorcycle crashes

Emergency crews were called to two crashes in Columbia involving motorcycles Monday.

At 7:30 p.m., traffic was backed up on Grindstone Parkway as a motorcycle was towed from the scene.

Earlier Monday, one person was put into an ambulance after a crash involving a motorcycle on Business Loop 70 near Sexton Road.

Monday’s crashes come after a deadly motorcycle crash a week ago near Peachtree Drive.

23-year-old Tyler Davis was killed after his motorcycle hit the side of a jeep.
