Former KU football player reported missing in Missouri
Deputies in Maries County are looking for a missing man, whose phone last pinged in their area.
Brandon Bourbon was reported missing from Washington County on Saturday. Ping data from his phone placed him in Maries County late Sunday night. Bourbon is believed to be driving a silver 2005 Chrysler minivan.
The van has University of Kansas stickers on its back windows and some minor body damage on its rear end. The plates are custom, and read “JR-JENA.”
Bourbon, 24, is a former player for the University of Kansas Jayhawks football team. Bourbon was a running back, and according to the website Bleacher Report, he received first-team All-Big 12 academic honors in 2013. In that same season, Bourbon ran for 191 yards, three touchdowns on 41 carries, and added 20 receptions for 102 yards.
