Police looking for 2 suspects after burglary in central Columbia

Police are looking for two suspects after a burglary in central Columbia Monday.

It happened in the 200 block of Ripley Street, near Liberty just before 6:00 Monday morning.

Police said two men came into the home through the back door and were armed with a gun.

Authorities said people were home at the time of the burglary. The suspects apparently ran when the victims called police.

Neighbors told our ABC 17 News crew that the victims had just moved into the home.

Police would not say whether or not the door was unlocked at the time of the burglary.
