Jeremiah Tilmon signs with Orlando Magic
ORLANDO, Fla. (KMIZ)
Former Mizzou standout Jeremiah Tilmon signed with the Orlando Magic on Thursday afternoon, after briefly playing with the team during Summer League ball.
The terms of the East St. Louis native's deal are still undisclosed.
Tilmon played in one game for the Magic in the 2021 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, recording three points, three rebounds, and one assist in about five minutes of action. He will continue to wear the No. 23 through his contract with Orlando.
The center played in 24 games for Mizzou in the 2020 season, averaging about 12 points and seven rebounds per game. Tilmon had tested the NBA waters before the start of his senior season, but did decide to stay and play for head coach Cuonzo Martin one more year.
He is the second Tiger from his class to sign an NBA deal, as Dru Smith signed with the Miami Heat in the week prior.
