Traffic Alert: Authorities respond to multiple-car crash
UPDATE: Columbia Police tell ABC 17 News an accident investigation is pending. At least one person was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities responded to a multiple vehicle crash in Columbia Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported around 6:15 on Broadway and College Avenue. It was head-on and involved two cars. Emergency officials were asking drivers to avoid the area.
The scene is clear, and the cars have been towed.
One of the cars crashed into the gate of a building at Stephens College.
