Ice causes truck to flip over in Boone County

A truck flipped over in Boone County after slipping on some ice Tuesday morning.

It happened in the 3100 block of KMJ Road shortly after 11 a.m.

Authorities tell ABC 17 News icy roads caused the truck to slide off, even though the driver was driving slowly.

The truck was stuck and had to be removed, and the driver was taken to the hospital for a check up. He did not have any threatening injuries.
