Weak Clipper System Will Bring Slight Chance for A Wintry Mix Monday Morning

Light, patchy showers consisting of a wintry mix are expected to move in by 7AM tomorrow morning. Although chances are slight, with the showers being scattered in nature, the precipitation on top of refrozen snow melt tomorrow morning will likely result in slick spots on roads for the Monday morning commute.

As temperatures warm to above freezing by late in the morning, the wintry precipitation will transition into scattered rain showers through the Mid-Missouri region. This is expected to be a quick moving system, with shower activity exiting our region by about 2-3PM Monday afternoon.

With that said, yet another, and slightly better, chance for a rain/snow mix will move in Monday night into Tuesday morning. Only light accumulations of both snow and rain are expected in the Monday to Tuesday time frame, with a dry weather pattern resuming by Wednesday.
